100 Days of Excellence Seems Reasonable

šŸ’Æ100 Days of...

Today, the 8th day of January I decided to start. I saw a ā€œI read these books in {year}ā€ thread from a friend. One of the books recommended for all new writers was ā€œOn Writingā€ by Stephen King. That's a goal of mine, become a ā€œwriterā€.

I made it 40 pages in before starting this.

Instead of procrastinating again and trying to write the perfect piece, I'm just going to write about my upcoming experiences. Perhaps sharing that will be useful for others.

Day 100 - Just Start

These feel like a basic starting place for now. Finalizing everything by Day 90 feels like a good target. These are all part of the long-term goals I want to achieve.

  • Move about every day.
  • Have fun.
  • Get outside more.
  • Body - 3.5x runs/week, 1 XC/week, 2 strength/week.
  • Cultivate better writing skills and publish multiple articles on this site.
  • Set yearly goals.
  • Build valuable digital tools for personal use - ā€œ100 Day Counterā€
  • Improve financial health.
  • Expand my knowledge by reading my off my bookshelf.

Iā€™ve had ups and downs of reestablishing what the new normal should be - excellence. Consistency is the best way to succeed. Ā

"We are what we repeatedly do, excellence is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

Thatā€™s it. Let's see what sticksšŸ’Æ! Off for a stretch.
